Cooperation with the Ministry of Labour
In partnership with the Employment Development Agency (ADEM), co-labor welcomes and integrates job seekers into its activities
Professional experience, training, and psychosocial support form the key triad to ensure high-quality support for job seekers and to enhance their prospects for entering the labour market.
Cooperation with the Ministry of Family Affairs, Solidarity, Living Together and Reception
In partnership with the National Office for Social Inclusion (ONIS), referrals to various Co-labor activities are made possible through Luxembourg’s social offices, with the aim to :
• Acquire professional and social skills in order to enhance employability under conditions that are less demanding than those of the primary labour market
• Assess individual potential and employment opportunities (as part of the pilot project “Orientation and Assessment Service”).
Cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Social Security
In partnership with MISA, Co-labor runs a therapeutic fruit workshop located in Remerschen.
This therapeutic project is aimed at individuals covered by the so-called “REVIS” law, particularly those suffering from anxiety disorders or post-traumatic stress.
Rather than being excluded from the world of work or placed on long-term disability, these individuals receive ongoing support to help them regain autonomy and lasting well-being. The project offers a personalised rehabilitation pathway within a caring and supportive working environment.
2000m² Project: IBLA, natur&ëmwelt, Ministry of the Environment
Près de la Maison de la Nature à Kockelscheuer, à quelques pas de la ville de Luxembourg, un terrain de 2000 m² a été transformé en champ de culture agricole. Ce projet est une collaboration entre l'IBLA a.s.b.l. (Institut fir Biologësch Landwirtschaft an Agrarkultur), natur&ëmwelt a.s.b.l. et co-labor s.c., avec le soutien financier du Ministère de l'Environnement, du Climat et du Développement durable. Les partenaires du projet cultivent ensemble le terrain et organisent divers événements pour attirer le public. Ce champ est cultivé de manière biologique et reflète les conditions du Luxembourg par rapport à l’échelle mondiale, puisque 2000 m2 (dont la moitié est utilisée pour l’agriculture et l’autre moitié en tant que prairie permanente) sont à disposition par habitant luxembourgeois. À noter que les habitudes alimentaires de la population ont un impact important non seulement sur la santé des hommes, mais également sur le sol, l’air et l’eau. Pour 2024, co-labor a poursuivi la collaboration avec le projet.
Oeuvre Nation ale de Secours Grande Duchesse Charlotte
Among our partners, the Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte has played a key role by supporting Co-labor through various projects:
- The GAÏA Educational Garden
The Co-labor GAÏA Educational Garden was established in the final months of 2021 and was officially launched in mid-June 2022. The project was supported by the Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte. Today, around ten different topics—each related to the environment, human beings, and their interconnectedness—are explored through a variety of workshops held throughout the seasons.
Extension of the Grenge-Kuerf Käerjeng Project:
As a producer of organic fruits and vegetables within a social framework, we are constantly seeking new ways to improve product quality and better accommodate reintegration staff. In 2023, Co-labor2 asbl, in collaboration with the Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte, proposed an extension of the existing program through the rental of a new plot for the production of organic fruits and vegetables.
- Biodiversity Center:
Located just steps from the GAÏA Educational Garden, the new pavilion is designed to welcome schools, nurseries, and after-school care centers for off-season activities, as well as companies and associations for events focused on the environment and sustainable development.
